Eastside Tennis Academy Squad Programs

High Performance Squads at Eastside Tennis Centres

Eastside Tennis Centre is recognised as a leader in talent development, delivering high-quality performance squad programs that truly set us apart. Our Talent Development and Performance Squads cater for both junior and senior players who are committed to competing at a high level—locally, interstate, or internationally. Our programs develop the complete player, with a strong focus on technical, tactical, physical, and mental performance. The squads are led by Arie Shatar, Tennis Australia High Performance Coach, whose philosophy is built on strong fundamentals and doing the basics exceptionally well. Players are placed in tactical, game-based situations to build court awareness, strengthen key game styles, expose opponents’ weaknesses, and identify and develop their own strengths. Physical conditioning is a major component of the program. To compete consistently at a high level, players must be able to sustain quality over time. Our fitness training supports both physical resilience and mental toughness, building strong bodies and confident minds. Mental training is coordinated by Dr Ilan Kogus, Sports Psychologist, who works with players both on and off the court to develop focus, confidence, emotional control, and competitive resilience. Players train using a wide range of high-performance equipment, including medicine balls, reaction balls, lights, speed gates, plyometric tools, and structured strength and conditioning in our purpose-built gym. Our squad players continue to achieve outstanding results across all levels of competition. Serious about your tennis? Get in touch to learn more about our High Performance Squad programs.
