Terms & Conditions

Eastside Tennis Centre is committed to providing a safe and professional experience for all players, visitors and customers. The following Terms & Conditions apply to all Court Bookings, Programs, Competitions and School Holiday Camps.

By making a booking and/or entering Eastside Tennis Centre, you are agreeing to these Terms & Conditions.

Court Bookings

  • All online bookings must be paid in advance. No refunds unless the Centre is closed by Management.
  • Online bookings will receive an automatic email confirmation. Please ensure your email is entered correctly.
  • Changes to bookings must be requested by email to tennis@eastsidetennis.com.au at least 24 hours prior to the booking.
  • No external coaching or coaching baskets allowed unless approved by Management.
  • The Centre may close due to weather or other factors. In these cases, a credit voucher will be issued (valid for 3 months).
  • No credit will be given for no-shows or late cancellations (less than 24 hours notice).
  • Customers must present proof of booking if requested.

Adult & Junior Tennis Programs

  • Programs must be booked and paid for online prior to the start of term.
  • No make-up lessons or movement of classes for illness or personal reasons.
  • Wet weather notifications will be sent by SMS at least 60 minutes prior to the lesson when possible.
  • If no SMS is received, assume lessons are proceeding as scheduled.
  • Group lessons- All group classes are priced on 9 lessons per term. This allows for a shorter term or one lesson cancellation due to wet weather, extreme heat, or coach unavailability. If no cancellation occurs, the 10th lesson is considered a bonus class at no additional cost. Due to class sizes and coach-to-player ratios, make-up lessons or credits cannot be offered for classes missed due to: Illness or injury, Personal circumstances, School commitments, holidays, or other activities.
  • Enrolment in a group class secures a place for the full term, and payment covers the program as a whole rather than individual sessions.
  • Adult Group Programs: Credits provided for additional washouts.
  • Junior Group Programs: Credits for wet weather will be applied toward the following School Holiday Camp.
  • No drop-ins allowed due to class sizes and coach ratios.
  • 10-Lesson Packs must be used within 3 months of purchase. Unused lessons after this time will expire.
  • Permanent private lesson spots: all make-ups must be used before the start of the following term.

School Holiday Camps

  • No changes to bookings within 48 hours of the first day of camp.
  • Camps will proceed in all weather, with indoor activities as required.
  • Management reserves the right to offer make-up sessions or extend terms instead of issuing credits.
  • If you miss a make-up session due to personal conflicts, no credit will be provided.

Risk Warning

Playing tennis carries inherent risks, including the risk of injury. Players participate at their own risk. Eastside Tennis Centre, Shatar Tennis Pty Ltd, and their staff are not liable for injury, death or loss of personal property, except where prohibited under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.

Permission to Photograph / Video

By accepting these Terms & Conditions, you grant Eastside Tennis permission to photograph and/or video participants during lessons, squads, tournaments, and holiday camps. These images and videos may be used by Eastside Tennis for promotional purposes, including but not limited to our website, social media platforms, newsletters, and printed marketing materials. If you do not wish for images of yourself or your child to be used, please notify us in writing prior to participation.

Release & Waiver

By attending Eastside Tennis Centre, you release Eastside Tennis Centre, Shatar Tennis Pty Ltd, their staff, employees and contractors from all liability related to injury, death, or property loss, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
